HKUMed Marathon Team Seminar 1:
Joints Injury, Prevention and Training Tips

The most important race of the Hong Kong running calendar, Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 is fast approaching.  Apart from the highly specialized training programme offered, the Talent Acquisition and People-First Team of HKUMed is organizing a series of sharing sessions in the coming months.

 

The first session covering joints injury, prevention of injury and training experience will be conducted by two expert-speakers: Prof. WONG Tak Man and Prof. SIN Wai Ching Simon on 5 December 2024 Thursday exclusively for HKUMed.

About the Speakers:

Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed

 

Prof. Wong is the Chief of the Division of Sports and Arthroscopic Surgery of Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in the School of Clinical Medicine at HKUMed.

Prof. SIN Wai-ching Simon

Clinical Associate Professor of Practice, Critical Care Medicine Unit, HKUMed

 

Simon is the Unit head of Critical Care Medicine Unit (CCMU) at HKUMed.

Simon is a keen long-distance runner. He is currently preparing various local and overseas marathon and competitions. He will share tips on how to fit running into a busy schedule.
